In the beginning there was heather! When our founder Diderk Heinje broke ground behind his parent's home in 1972 to plant heather and rhododendrons, no one could image where it would lead...
A passionate team of more than 150 employees produces an assortment of over 4,500 plants on 65 hectares of containers and 35 hectares of open land or, in the office and logistics department, ensures that everything gets to where it needs to be.
Whether early bloomers, ornamental shrubs, roses or fruit trees: As plant smiths with a rich tradition, we are in full command of our craft and offer our customers a flourishing complete assortment.
We dig, we plant, we pot, we cut, we prune, we package and ship! Thanks to the latest technology, a modern logistics centre and a wealth of experience, we are fast, flexible and always meet our deadlines.
We produce at full steam – but we're passionate about protecting and preserving our environment! For us, using the absolute minimum of plant protection agents and opting for environmentally-friendly alternatives as well as bee-friendly products are a matter of course.
