Plants for Autumn – Tailored Solutions for Your Customers

Award-Winning Problem Solver: Groundbreaker® Blush™

The groundcover hydrangea Groundbreaker Blush is a true problem-solving plant. This compact, pink-flowering hydrangea blooms for up to 100 days and offers numerous benefits for garden retailers – it suppresses weeds, is extremely low-maintenance, and attracts beneficial insects. With these strengths, it has rightly earned recognition: at the prestigious “Show Your Colours Awards”, this innovative newcomer was awarded first place.

Thanks to its unique qualities, Groundbreaker Blush™ is ideal for covering large areas and edging flowerbeds, but also performs beautifully in containers. It is available year-round in pot size P 14, and in summer as flowering stock in P 17, P 19, and P 23 in an attractively printed pink pot.

Rosy Boom® Wildlife

For those seeking a plant that supports both bees and birds, Rosy Boom Wildlife is the perfect choice. From June to August, this wild rose dazzles with long racemes of bright pink, fragrant flowers, and develops decorative rose hips in late summer. These attract a wide variety of insects and birds, actively supporting biodiversity.

This robust, drought-tolerant and winter-hardy variety grows up to 160 cm tall and is a great addition to naturalistic gardens – whether planted as a hedge, in a pot, or in the garden bed. Rosy Boom Wildlife is available from Heinje in a 6-litre container.

From Bloombux® to Taxus Tiny T

Heinje offers a wide range of evergreen hedging plants: from fragrant rhododendrons like INKARHO-Dufthecke, to the elegant Grazeasy and the striking three-colour Happydendron, there's something for every taste. For low borders, the flowering boxwood alternaive Bloombux and the compact, densely branched Taxus baccata ‘Tiny T’ are particularly suitable.

All these plants are evergreen, easy to care for, and highly drought-tolerant. They are also undemanding in terms of location, making them the perfect foundation for robust, low-maintenance hedges.

For Shady Spots: Easydendron®

Shaded beds or low-light areas are often seen as a challenge – but with the right plants, they’re no problem at all. Easydendron thrives even in peat-free soils thanks to its special INKARHO rootstock, and feels right at home in shady locations.

This hardy rhododendron blooms abundantly from May to June and remains low-maintenance throughout. Its tolerance for different sites, resistance to drought, and winter hardiness down to –24 °C make it an all-rounder for gardens, balconies, and terraces. The rhododendron is available in over 30 different varieties in 5-litre containers.
